Why does it have to be summer. Sure I like the brake from schooling but the heat! It's finally cooled of to bearable here. But at least its hours closer to it being over.

I'd be changing my mood but it doesn't want to work for me right now. I'm not sure if it's cause my new computer is a Mac or it just doesn't like me. So on to the computer I got a new computer Thursday cause the other one nearly set my pants (and carpet) on fire when the power cord broke. That was exciting so I'm back to Mac.

Mac is what started my mild love affair with computers. I first was using the 1984 model and we had that till dad decided to get rid of it. I was kinda sad seeing as it was still working and thought it would make a nice museum piece. But after having a Window for most of my computer 'life' it's a little weird trying to switch back.

I think the best thing about getting the new computer is that I can now do more digital art work cause the first (the one that fried me was dad's) laptop died/fell apart to the point that it was more cause effective to take the hard drive out and put it on an external. Then dad's wouldn't even run MS Paint seeing as pretty much all the RAM was eaten up by the OS (Vista). So I'm back to working with a tablet!

I may be getting some stuff up this week. If it's not something digital it will probably be a picture of more stuffed animals. I'm working on a grey bear and a blue and white penguin. I may work on a tie-dye walrus who I'm naming Paul;Kudos to those who get it, or a frog. I have to look through the fabric that I have first.

Anyway other things, I'll be getting to move to the basement once we get the new carpet in (we had a kinda nasty flood) so I'll get to keep my craft and art stuff out pretty much all the time cause the space down there is amazing. I'll just need to remember to come up stairs and eat every so often. ^-^ But we may need to take care of an other rodent problem, we're hearing things in the walls. It could just be the wind but half the time when you hear it the wind isn't blowing at all.
